Concertmaster of the Philadelphia Orchestra, violinist David Kim, and artistic director of the Frost Chopin Academy and Festival, pianist Kevin Kenner, join forces to bring some of the most expressive and quintessentially Romantic works for violin and piano. David Kim has established a versatile career as a soloist, concertmaster, masterclass clinician, and author, and has served as juror on numerous competitions including the Menuhin and Sarasate International Competitions. Kevin Kenner, whose career was launched since his 1990 Chopin Competition win, has regaled the Miamian audience year after year with his grace, depth, and musical sincerity. The Kim-Kenner duo will take the stage after the first half of the concert, which will open with music by Chopin performed by selected students of the Frost Chopin Academy.
