The 6th edition of the Frost Chopin Festival returns this year to Miami with world-class, unforgettable music performances at Maurice Gusman Concert Hall and the brand-new Newman Concert Hall at the University of Miami. This edition features leading artists of our time, violinists David Kim and Michael Vaiman, and pianists Kevin Kenner, Wojciech Świtała, Dina Yoffe, as well as the Ted Rosenthal Trio in an evening of classics with a jazz twist.
Rising star virtuoso students of the Frost Chopin Academy will perform alongside these remarkable artists, and all attendees are invited to sit in enlightening workshops by renowned Chopin scholar Prof. John Rink, jazz workshop with Ted Rosenthal, as well as all open-to-public lessons. This edition’s finale concert will shed a spotlight on Chopin’s works with orchestral accompaniment, where concerto competition winners will perform with an orchestra led by Philadelphia Orchestra concertmaster, violinist David Kim.
